Message from spirit | Inner Work

The word ‘work’ is not just about the paycheck, and yes, having skills, dedicating your time, finding your passion, paying bills, etc., is important. But none of it will matter if you are not doing the ‘work’ on yourself first and how you interact and connect with others. These are the growth moments where momentum and forward movement matter most.

Remember, every aspect of the word ‘work’ should be a pathway to inner harmony and fulfillment, not a sacrifice that leads to burnout. Embrace it as a journey of growth and joy, creating balance, without masks, aligning with your true self in every area of your life and in every step of the way, and all the things you wish to be fulfilled will find their way to you without resistance.

I got you. It's okay to ask for help and support.

In the past, I’ve always been quite stubborn when it comes to asking for help or support, but over time, that has shifted, and I’ve been able to realize that it’s not only okay to ask for help or support but it’s actually healthier for me. So often, we look at leaning on another as a sign of weakness, that we aren’t being independent, or we don’t want to feel like a burden, etc., when in reality, asking for support can lead to a better state of mental health and can help forge more meaningful and lasting connections with others.

But how do we know who is best for our overall well-being and ‘the right people? You know I’m going to say first and foremost, trust your intuition. Ask yourself, do I feel comfortable, understood, and supported by this person? Seek others who can empathize, come from a place of non-judgment, communicate effectively and respectfully. I am a huge advocate for professional guidance, therapy, and coaching mentors in addition to seeking support from friendships that have your best interest at heart.

So, when it comes to asking for support or help, don’t look at it as giving up or your last resort, see it as an incredible strength within that says, ‘I am actually refusing to give up, and I’m worth it.’

Message from Spirit | Inner Compass

Sometimes, we need to spend a little time alone with our thoughts and in solitude to gain clarity, navigate conflict, and gain wisdom while facing life’s challenges. Today’s message encourages you not to forget the lessons learned and all you’ve worked towards. There is a balance here of both the mind and of the heart, where the answers you seek come from within. This may sound like a broken record, but sometimes we all need a little reminder now and again to ask ourselves, “Are you listening to your inner wisdom, your intuition?” Trust it; it won’t let you down.

Spiritually Awakening? Wait, What?

Awakening to your spiritual journey? How much time do you have? I’m giggling because it’s one of my favorite topics, but I’ll keep it short. So, for me, I can laugh now and say that my spirit guides, my higher self, were like, “Girl, enough is enough. Let’s get this party started!”

What usually kickstarts an awakening can be a number of things like major life changes, the loss of a loved one, etc. It’s very personal because it’s your journey and yours alone, pushing you into questioning your purpose, your why, your choices... How do you know? Your intuition, for one. It’s like someone just flips a switch, and that inner voice starts shouting from the rooftops to trust your instincts and somehow you’re now tuned into a different frequency. You start experiencing synchronicities and wanting to connect with a higher purpose, and that’s just the beginning. My spirit guides shared a message that I’ve kept with me for years: “Your awakening, my love, does not come but once. This is the path of many roads, many mountains. What you seek has never been lost, but the length of your journey to discover this, my dear, is completely up to you.

They're just words. Step into your power.

Have you ever felt thrown off by just a few words someone said, unable to shake off their impact? It’s incredible, isn’t it, how much power words have over us? When you really think about it, it seems almost absurd that mere words have the ability to knock us down. Yesterday, I found myself caught up in the words “body frame” in the context of someone judging another by how they looked and struck a chord within me, triggering a boatload of emotions, mixed in with my own bucket of insecurities. But, it’s funny how much significance we attach to words, isn’t it?

In moments like this, it’s a great reminder to first and foremost remember that those words belong to someone else; they don’t define you. Take a moment to pause, to breathe, and try not to get caught up in someone else’s narrative. Tune into your feelings and reclaim your power. Step back into your own light and shine brightly, knowing that your worth is beyond any words spoken. Period.
