False doors and open hearts

In a world where we often carry the weight of our past wounds, it’s easy to believe that our worth resides in the hurt we’ve endured. We find ourselves standing at a false door—a barrier created to protect our hearts but one that keeps us from truly seeing the depth of our potential and desires.

The path to self-discovery calls for balance and harmony with both our past and present. To grow, we must learn to walk away from the pain that no longer serves us, placing self-forgiveness at the forefront and releasing what binds us to the stories of who we once were.

We build walls around our hearts, thinking we’re shielding ourselves from harm. But these walls do more than protect—they isolate. While we may keep hurt out, we also block love, opportunity, and truth from coming in. Our journey is not about avoiding pain but about courageously facing it, knowing we are strong enough to endure and heal.

Harmony comes from understanding that our past does not define our worth. Every experience—joyful or painful—has shaped the incredible beings we are today. By reflecting on past experiences rather than clinging to them, we create space for new opportunities to flow into our lives.

When we stop guarding our hearts so fiercely, we begin to see clearly what we truly desire. Whether it’s love, purpose, or a deeper connection to our intuition, we allow ourselves to ask, “What do I truly want? What fulfills me?”

When we align with our inner truth and let our intuition guide our path, we find that desires born of fear fall away. What remains are the pursuits that light our souls on fire.

The most profound connections—both with others and with ourselves—come when we let down our walls and trust that the universe is guiding us toward our highest good. Healing is not about erasing the past but about integrating its lessons with grace and compassion.

Remember, your worth does not live in the wounds of yesterday but in the light you allow to shine today. You have the power to release, forgive, and align with your true self. The universe is waiting to meet you where you are, ready to co-create the life you desire.

Poem: Boundless Skies

Purity resides in the heart, running wild like a child where pirates roam and dragons soar. Life blossoms in the tiniest wonders: a blade of grass, a flower to pick, the sky to gaze upon. In this realm, freedom cascades through every breath, as the mind surrenders and no longer dictates. The field is wide and vast, stretching beyond sight, soaring above the trees. Here, you are the observer, voyager, explorer, and stargazer.

Limitations no longer bind you in the slavery of defeat; instead, they lift you to wonder, curiosity, and hope. As the false mirror crumbles, an unveiling and rebirth are witnessed, reclaiming a song long forgotten. You embody timeless truth, pure in essence—you are home.

Those pesky thoughts!

Which voice in your head are you listening to? When I find myself in the space of negative thinking, I have a little chat with myself. Sometimes it’s a middle finger in the mirror, followed by ‘we’re not going there today’—I’m so not kidding. I usually always laugh after, which is needed. We all have days when we are a little harder on ourselves. So, give yourself a breather and acknowledge that you’re just having an off day without being overly critical. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer to a friend, and maybe try challenging yourself by redirecting your thoughts to your strengths and accomplishments, not on what’s not going your way or working in the moment. Everything will be okay. You’ve got this!

A good negotiator

I’m a very good negotiator in my head when it comes to making excuses for why I’m not doing something or feeling a certain way about myself. And, as much as I could and should be kinder to myself, I also feel like sometimes a little tough love can go a long way. Motivational speaker; Mel Robbins often quotes, “No one is coming to save you.” Well, that’s a large dose of OUCH. But, damn, it’s true. Taking responsibility for our present life and future life, changing the way we think, and shifting the feels to rid of negative thinking... it takes work!

But if there is one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s in breaking things down into doable steps, celebrating every little win along the way, and sharing my victories with those who lift me and support me. So, remember, recognizing and changing your thought patterns, creating action is a process. It’s a journey that requires practice, and where practicing it is key.

12.12 | Stepping stones of self love: A Channeled Message from spirit

On this loveliest of new moons, you see the world.

On this day, a breakthrough occurs within you. This is not to say that what has come forward is unrecognizable, but ‘familiar’ is a better word. You see the pieces within you that you have been longing to see—an awakening and beckoning for something more, not externally like a desire for things or relationships, but of oneself.

You are aware of your surroundings with a new set of eyes—eyes that gaze upon the self, nurturing a deeper love and understanding of who you are and will be. There is freshness, renewal, doves in flight, and patriarchal simplicity in viewpoint and knowledge. Do not waver in this gaze, or worry, for these are the stones that have been placed at your feet to step upon—to climb, to conquer without fear, without hesitation.

You are ready, dear love. We have been waiting for you to see what we have seen all along.

“After I channeled this message, I had to look up what 'patriarchal simplicity in viewpoint and knowledge' meant. I could come up with a few thoughts of my own, but I do love when I am presented with phrases I would never use. For me, it’s a sign that my messages are truly coming from somewhere other than my own thoughts, a beautiful addition; lovely, uplifting and wise.”

If you are wondering yourself what 'patriarchal simplicity in viewpoint and knowledge' means, it was meant to convey a straightforward, uncomplicated perspective—a clear and simple way of looking at things that may be associated with societal structures in place.
