They're just words. Step into your power.

Have you ever felt thrown off by just a few words someone said, unable to shake off their impact? It’s incredible, isn’t it, how much power words have over us? When you really think about it, it seems almost absurd that mere words have the ability to knock us down. Yesterday, I found myself caught up in the words “body frame” in the context of someone judging another by how they looked and struck a chord within me, triggering a boatload of emotions, mixed in with my own bucket of insecurities. But, it’s funny how much significance we attach to words, isn’t it?

In moments like this, it’s a great reminder to first and foremost remember that those words belong to someone else; they don’t define you. Take a moment to pause, to breathe, and try not to get caught up in someone else’s narrative. Tune into your feelings and reclaim your power. Step back into your own light and shine brightly, knowing that your worth is beyond any words spoken. Period.

Ch Ch Ch Changes

You know that feeling you get when you accomplish something that you really didn’t want to do, but you totally forced yourself to do it anyway because you knew afterwards you’d feel AMAZING and so glad you did? It doesn’t matter what it is—THAT, my dear friend, is the energy you want to pull in—the memory and the feeling of how great you’ll feel after every time you doubt or procrastinate. Just watch how things start to positively change in your life. Remember, change cannot happen without creating changes.

Those pesky thoughts!

Which voice in your head are you listening to? When I find myself in the space of negative thinking, I have a little chat with myself. Sometimes it’s a middle finger in the mirror, followed by ‘we’re not going there today’—I’m so not kidding. I usually always laugh after, which is needed. We all have days when we are a little harder on ourselves. So, give yourself a breather and acknowledge that you’re just having an off day without being overly critical. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer to a friend, and maybe try challenging yourself by redirecting your thoughts to your strengths and accomplishments, not on what’s not going your way or working in the moment. Everything will be okay. You’ve got this!

A good negotiator

I’m a very good negotiator in my head when it comes to making excuses for why I’m not doing something or feeling a certain way about myself. And, as much as I could and should be kinder to myself, I also feel like sometimes a little tough love can go a long way. Motivational speaker; Mel Robbins often quotes, “No one is coming to save you.” Well, that’s a large dose of OUCH. But, damn, it’s true. Taking responsibility for our present life and future life, changing the way we think, and shifting the feels to rid of negative thinking... it takes work!

But if there is one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s in breaking things down into doable steps, celebrating every little win along the way, and sharing my victories with those who lift me and support me. So, remember, recognizing and changing your thought patterns, creating action is a process. It’s a journey that requires practice, and where practicing it is key.

Navigating the Tough Choice: When I Must Turn Away a Client

I'd like to share a personal experience that is a difficult and important aspect of my work as a psychic and medium: the heart-wrenching decision to turn away a client when their energy is misaligned with the spiritual work I do.

It's a decision that weighs heavily on my heart because, as a psychic medium, my calling is to be of service. I genuinely want to help those who seek guidance, but sometimes, energy misalignment creates an obstacle that blocks the clarity and accuracy of the session. In these moments, I have to do what is in the best interests of the client.

As a psychic medium, I'm driven by a deep desire to serve my clients with compassion, empathy, and integrity. My intention is to provide guidance and insights to those on their journey of self-discovery, healing, and understanding. Unfortunately, there are moments when the energy between a client and me is off-balanced that it becomes very difficult to provide the level of service they truly need, even if the session hasn’t begun yet.

Here are some reasons why turning away a client with misaligned energy can be the most compassionate and kind choice:

Too soon after a loved ones passing: Sometimes, when a client has recently lost a loved one, their grief can cloud their ability to receive a message. This can lead to misunderstandings and confusion during the session, adding to their sorrow. In these moments, it's important to protect the client by prioritizing their well-being. While everyone processes grief differently, I often suggest to clients to wait before receiving a reading following the passing of a loved one.

Self care / Professional help: Sometimes, a client's energy may be misaligned due to emotional or psychological factors that require professional help that I cannot provide. As a psychic medium it sometimes get confused with seeking professional help, whether its a therapist, doctor, financial advisor, etc.. Encouraging them to seek alternative support is a compassionate step toward their healing journey.
